Defrost resistor is used in industrial kitchen departments and in areas such as evaporators in cold air chambers.
It is adhered on the surface of the evaporator or inside the pipe. It is activated only during the defrost period and melts the ice accumulated on the evaporator surface. It acts only as a conductor in the normal operation period of the refrigerator.
With various circuits, mechanisms, measures and automations added to the installations, the energy requirements of the cooling systems for defrosting are tried to be kept at a low level. Defrosting is done with fixed or controlled timing.
Our defrosting resistances are produced as defrosting cartridge resistance (single side output) and defrosting rod resistance (double side output).
Rubber pressure plugs resistant to 300 degrees are applied on defrost resistances.
The cable used is an imported cable resistant from -40 degrees up to +180 degrees.
When the defrost resistances used in evaporators are heated, a fixing sheet is used to prevent the resistances from moving when they expand.
